Winter Clothing Drive 2026
Warmth for Every Soul
As winter winds sweep through Karachi, families living in poorly insulated homes or on the streets face severe hardship. Without adequate warm clothing, children and the elderly are highly susceptible to pneumonia and other cold-related illnesses. The Karachi People Welfare Association (KPWA) recognizes that warmth is not just a comfort, but a winter survival essential, and our annual clothing drive is dedicated to providing that shield against the cold.
A Shield Against the Cold
This year, KPWA launched its most extensive Winter Clothing Drive to date. We collected thousands of jackets, sweaters, and blankets from generous donors across the city. Over the course of three weeks, our volunteer teams distributed these items in some of the coldest, most marginalized settlements in the outskirts of the city. For many families, these items are the only way to endure the dropping temperatures safely and with dignity.
Empowering Through Generosity
While the physical items provide immediate relief, the drive also fosters a sense of unity and shared responsibility across the city. By connecting those with surplus to those in need, we build stronger community bonds and highlight the power of collective action. Our goal is not just to distribute clothes, but to convey a message of hope and care to those who often feel forgotten by society.
Your donations keep this mission alive. Every blanket and every sweater makes a difference. Join us in making Karachi a warmer place for everyone this winter.
